Yes, Airline Apps sucks big time! And soon you got to pay $60 for it too. Hell, for $60 they should be inputting all my info. What a ripoff!

I have a couple busts and got a call to interview. Gonna have explain it and be honest and show that I learned from it and not blame anyone but myself. Hopefully I can kick ass on the rest!

And I heard first class start Feb. 15th for ATR's. Jets don't start until April. But who knows if that info is accurate.

Sorry to go to an extreme in my previous post. I was using no failed checkrides and a clean driving record as an example....I doubt people with a speeding ticket or a bust would be overlooked. (i have 2 speeding tickets on my record and got through) From what I have heard from people at Eagle is that those who were in the pool are given preference (assuming they have the mins and are current of course) and everyone after that better look pretty good on paper. Once you meet the mins everything else about you will be looked at very closely. GOOD LUCK!!!!

I'm just wondering about the logbooks and the flight times grid they have fill out for interview. Just like on airlineapps.com they want you to put in student time separate from PIC time. However in my logbook, when I was a student, I also logged PIC (when I was rated in the aircraft). Just wondering if they'll be ok with my PIC time on the form I fill not equalling my PIC time in my logbook.

I didn't log all of my student time as PIC. Mainly when I was getting my MEI, I had to log 15 PIC in the make and model just to get the MEI in the first place. Plus a few other select flights here and there.

Hey guys I'm currently working for Eagle but not on the flying end. I heard American is going to get rid of a bunch of pilots 100 or so. Doesn't that mean they would be going to eagle?

Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Absolutely not. You're probably referring to the previously expired Flowback/Flowthrough agreement.

We have piles of arbitration on that. It's a mess.

I saw somewhere above that there are guys with 5k+ getting interviews...are they getting hired? Not sure how well I'd eat that first year, but I'm ready for a little stability, and having some 121 jet crew time probably wouldn't hurt me down the line either.

And yes, I realize that this would be the most epic turncoat since Benedict Arnold. Perhaps I'll get a similar bonus!?

First year diet is entirely liquid-based.

What type of trouble are you having with the App?

I've been talking back and forth with "The Man" about some stuff and I can ask a couple questions for ya.

That's incorrect.

More like 100 or so, is the official word.

I just got the call for an interview today, does anyone know much about the current interview process, i.e. do you have to take a written if you already have the ATP written finished, how long newbies can expect to be on reserve?

Well, it's not that I'm having trouble with the app, it's just taking me a long time adding up all my hours by aircraft and all the specifics that airlineapps requires. If it weren't for my busy schedule, I'd have it done by now..

Thinking about getting Logbook Pro, but that too would take a ridiculous amount of time to update with my times..

Do it, it makes logbook chores so much easier, If you can afford it have them do your time.
