Just interviewed with Alpine Air in KBIL on Friday. Pretty straight forward and relaxed. Talked with Jeff, the DO and Jeff, the chief pilot as soon as I got there. Looking for depenable reliable pilots cause you're pretty much taking care of everything; cargo, scheduling mx, etc.. Got to the sim eval, which was in a Frasca 142 set up for a turbo barron. Takes a little while to get used to any sim and this one is touchy with holding altitude. Used Jeppesen plates and Jeff designed a Departure from scratch as well as a VOR-C so can't study those, sorry. Also we did an ILS 27 into Helena. Nothing tricky, nothing too hard as long as you have solid "hands on" IMC experience and currency. PS. watch out for those mountains!!!!! |

I had seen their advertisement on JSFirm.com. Requirements posted are 1500TT 500ME. They called me with only 1400TT 450ME but with 330 King Air time. I suppose that helped out a lot. Ryan |
