Default My AirNet Interview:

This is kind of enclosed in a blog entry, and it's extremely long, but thought it might be interesting for anyone looking to interview with AirNet sometime next year.

I would copy and paste it, but the formatting was all jacked up- sorry.

Great write up! I look forward to flying for a part 135 sometime, 800 hours in the future.

The Lear flight was definitely the most awesome part of the interview process. Sounds like I'm the only person who interviewed there and didn't go for the sim prep beforehand. Oh well, moot point now.

You're not alone. I didn't do any sim prep. I drove in the morning of the interview and hit it then and there.

Botched it up pretty good too. I had to do a few extra spins over APE so I could brief the VOR approach (t'was my first time with NACO plates) and then went missed 100' above DH on the ILS because, again, I read the wrong altitude on the NACO plate. Whoops.

Still got hired.

Guess I had/still have 'em fooled.

PS
Nice write-up. It really is a neat little operation when it's really running. Just a shame with the furloughs.

Sorry your time was wasted. Lear is fun. But the cuts hurt just as bad.
