| recent Republic interviewers I recently interviewed with Republic last thurs. I was just wondering if anyone that interviewed with them this past week has heard anything from them. I know historically they have called and told you if you were hired either that day or the next; but ive heard lately that they have been taking longer. I am just wondering if I am alone in the fact that I have not been contacted to tell me one way or the other. |

| Re: recent Republic interviewers Yea, they just called me and gave me the may 4th crj class which is what I wanted to try and get out of houston. The company seems pretty good at giving you what you want. |

| Re: recent Republic interviewers Just interviewed with them today. The interview is as described on the gouges. Both the Wonderlic and the IFR test are still in place. I got to talk to Shane and the Chief Pilot of CHQ for the HR and Tech, was shorter then I expected. My advice, read the Application carefully! They ask if you have EVER had a traffic violation and I put no thinking it was the typical 5 yr deal. But I explained myself during the HR portion. The tech was pretty straight forward remember the 1/3 rule for decent planning, brief an approach and what to do if you lose an engine after v1 but prior to v2 with 10,000 ft left. Sim was also as described flew the ILS 10 into Lafayette full procedure, remember to call the missed (oops!). It didnt take as long as I thought. I hope i hear back soon! Good luck to anyone who got an invite to interview they are all nice people and would be a great place to work especially with the way things are looking right now! |

JD | Actually, the last RW class to go through was awarded CMH across the board. My guess is that it goes between CMH/PHL/DCA. The other bases seem pretty senior. |

| Re: recent Republic interviewers That just doesn't make sense. Why invite you to an interview if they are not hiring? Did you complete the process? I was there two weeks ago and am now in the pool waiting for a summer class date. I got a call from HR the Friday after the interview with the offer. |

| Re: recent Republic interviewers I'm in the RW May 13 class. My times are 1200/266, but I've been out of the game for 2 years. I studied my butt off for the interview, got the call the following morning.

| Re: recent Republic interviewers They called me the next morning with a 4/29 CHQ class, but I graduate that day so they moved me to 5/13 RW on the spot. After my interview they started throwing people into the water, so I'm pretty sure I lucked out.

| Re: recent Republic interviewers Well with the recent events I don't think its going to matter for a while. I wonder if I will stay in a pool or if they will drop everyone and start over when things look better... I guess I better pick up a few more students to hold me over until things look better (hopefully within the year).... |
