Default Any Current Info on Cape Air's Interview and Training?

I am wondering if anybody has any current information concerning Cape Air's interview process. I am currently instructing in Texas and like my job a lot. However, I do not see myself instructing for much longer. I am not quite ready for the full-blown airline experience (I am not ready to start my career job at 21) and am thinking about starting out smaller. From what I have read, Cape Air seems like the place for me. With my hours (600+ TT, 100 ME, and about 100 XC), I do not quite meet the requirements, but should by summer. If I get an interview and get hired, what should I expect in terms of training? Is the training passable or not? Is it like most regional airlines now? Any information would be great. Also, is this a good company to fly for when my ultimate goal is to fly for the regionals? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Cape has consistently been on my short list of companies to work for. This includes the aspect of long term employment.

Cape Air is a great company, but just keep in mind that if you're 21, you won't be able to do much there. You can do their SIC program, or fly Freight for them, but to fly for the passenger side of their company, an ATP is legally required, and the age limit on that is 23....

As far as their training goes, its probably challenging, but in a different way than regionals. They are flying older 402Cs with all analogue instrumentation, so it's all going to be about raw data flying and approaches. I'd make sure you can fly the heck out of a PCATD sim before you go over for an interview, and make sure your IFR skills are seriously up to par in the real airplane. Especially if you plan to fly for them as a captain, they wont hire someone they aren't sure can handle it, flying larger piston twins IFR is some of the hardest flying there is. As far as it being passable, though, if you can do all that, no problem, 402 systems are pretty basic...

On aviationinterviews.com there are a couple of recent gouges that lay out the interview in detail.
