Default How long was your airline interview?

How many intereviews did you have and how long was the longest interview you had to get to the right seat?

I'm just curious as I'm comparing it to my last interview which was 7 hours long with only one 30 minute break but I got the position which is in banking and I have no idea why I'm comparing these two. I guess I'm just wondering if an airline interview for right seat is more difficult and lengthy than your regular office desk career?

My interview started at 8 and was over by 1130. And two of those hours were sitting around waiting for the actual interview.

My latest non-aviation interview was about 2 minutes. And it went well.

First airline interview was an hour (joke).

Second one was about 4 1/2 by the time I was out of there with a few breaks in between waiting for the sim...

Airline interviews are generally done in large groups (although the interview it's self isn't always), so you end up sitting around waiting a lot.

My first interview started at 7pm on a Tuesday night to do the sim ride. I didn't get in the sim until 12:15am (there were a bunch of us) and after a 15 minute sim session headed out the door and got to my hotel at 1:30 or so.

Day two started at 8am although the HR people got in on a flight that was running late and didn't get there until 9:30. Intro about the company took about 30 minutes plus Q&A took another 30 minutes. We then took a written test and broke for lunch around 11:30 while they graded the tests and looked at our logbooks. After lunch they called us into the actual 2 on 1 interview. Again, I was sort of towards the end so I ended up sitting around until about 4. The interview itself was 10 minutes tops.

So add everything together 7-12:30 + 8-4:30... 14 hours of time spent sitting in the training center. Of that maybe 3 hours was spent actually doing stuff.
