| PSA Ground School Quick question: Is it single or double-occupancy in the hotel rooms while in ground school for PSA?

| Re: PSA Ground School Single. They make the FAs share rooms, but the pilots get their own. |

| Re: PSA Ground School Actually, they are remodeling the hotel and it will be quadruple occupancy up until the work is done. I think they should be finished in March. |

| Re: PSA Ground School I just got off the phone with a buddy, he said since the class sizes are going to be larger they're going to put bunk beds in the rooms and sleep 8 people per room. |

| Re: PSA Ground School If you can't tell if Jeremy is joking or not, you'd better hope you never have a sim session with him.
(hint: our contract mandates how new hires are treated. there hasn't been a change to the contract in a while) |

| Re: PSA Ground School lol - I fell for it. . .to a certain extent. The bunk beds put me over the top though.

| Re: PSA Ground School What position is this for, Pilot, Dispatch or other. I have talked with PSA and Republic. I still have a few weeks to go at school before I get the FAA cert. I have heard a lot about both in the forum, some good info. |

| Re: PSA Ground School PSA sends their dispatchers through the first few weeks of ground school with the pilots. In fact, you may even do systems with them too. I don't remember.
After that you'll get cut loose to Brian and he will have his way with you.
I'm not sure, but they may NOT provide dispatchers rooms during training because you are expected to relocate to DAY anyways. That would be a question for the HR people here or Brian would know. |

| Re: PSA Ground School My buddy just called me again and said since the construction is a major undertaking they've been having problems with utilities. They are giving you the option of power and water or per diem. That is, if you opt for one of the rooms with power and water you will not receive per diem during training. I'm thinking with 8 bodies in there it shouldn't get too cold, but the water might be an issue. |
