Doc,

Congrats! Care to write up an interview gouge?

Alpha is a fractional that operates PC-12s and will be getting Grob jets late next year. Seems like a booming company wth rapid expansion. Good place to work if you are interested in getting your foot in the door in the corporate/fractional world.

Interview:

HR Interview: Asked normal interview questions like best quality, worst quality, why do you want to work here, what can you bring to the company. Be yourself and you'll do fine. Most of this time they spent talking about company benefits, pay, etc.

Technical Interview: KNOW YOUR IFR REGS AND PROCEDURES AND EVERYTHING ABOUT JEPP CHARTS. They hit these pretty hard. Know IFR GPS stuff ie. different gps modes. Uncontrolled airport IFR. I suggest getting the Jepp training DVD.

Simulator: Elite Igate. Takes a little getting used to but not super difficult. I went to Daniel Webster and got some time in it the night before. I highly suggest doing this. Got an ILS approach. Track to IAF (VOR) Track outbound to intercept localizer. Published Missed approach to hold at the VOR. Looking for good basic IFR skillz.

Everybody at Alpha is very nice and inviting and makes you feel right at home. This seems like a great company to work for. I can't wait to start flying the PC-12 full time! Good luck to anybody else interviewing. If you have any specific questions PM me.
