Default SkyWest interview advice

They do not hire with pilots with lower then their published minimums, even if they have your resume and invite you to an interview. Trust me call and clarify, you will waste your money and time preparing for an interview that will only last three hours. All three guys that I interviewed with were short the required time, and we all went home. Somebody made a mistake. Dang, I really wanted this one!!

Well, they're allegedly hiring below their published mins if you have Pt 121 jet experience; I think that's where the disconnect may have been. Sucks that they brought you in for an interview without having looked closely at your resume. That, or the left hand isn't on the same page as the right down there.

I agree...they can pretty much pick and choose, and don't need to lower mins.

Skywests minimums are 1000 though! I know 2 pilots hired who barely had 1000 hours

If you know somebody you can get hired under 1000. I know a guy there who got hired into the bro this spring with 700tt (but he knew someone). Ive also met a guy there who slipped under the radar and they hired him at 19y/o.
