| Resume help Feel free to move this if it's in the wrong location.
Background:
I'm sending this resume to line up a CFI job with a local flight school which I have already contacted the owner. He knows who I am, and since I've finished my commercial sel and writtens for FOI/CFI wants me to instruct for him. Basically we'll do CFI together, and he'll get me standardized while and shortly thereafter training.
Basically what I want to know is what to put on my resume to send him. Obviously flight time, but scores on writtens? Previous non-aviation jobs? Education? Things of this sort. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :P

dr.daru1 m.d. '07 | Just list your certificates. There is some examples on the site. Search for resume should also bring some up useful information in post threads. http://www.jetcareers.com/content/view/72/95/ |

| Re: Resume help It doesn't sound like he needs too much information, just an overview of what he already knows about you. What is your objective (to be an instructor) and what are your strong points (up to you). Following this you want a section where you write what certificates and ratings you have and this is where you would put any written test scores (that you have not received ratings for). Then a list of your times (TT, ME, SE, IFR, CC, etc). After that put down maybe your most recent employer just incase and if he wants more he will ask. Then definently your schooling background and what you majored it and so on. No more than a page. Good luck to you!!! CHEERS |
