| I know it is a small step in the scheme of things, but just got the call from ASA and did the small phone screening and was asked to come to the July 19th and 20th in house interview. Anyone else going please let me know. The guy I talked with seemed like a very nice guy and I am looking forward to going. I will keep everyone updated. CHEERS Ken |

| 750TT 400Multi 220Turbin SIC I am worried how they will take this but my past 6 months time is a little low. He asked me about it and I think I am around 70hrs past 6 months and not a lot of time per month. We will see what they have to say. I guess if they asked me for an interview then it must be ok. Again, anyone else that will be there let me know. CHEERS |

well, lets have a mockup question for that interview dude: Your time in the last 6 months seems kind of low, do you think it will hurt your performance if you fly with us and during your class?' pilot dude: _____ you fill in the blank ![]() just out of curiousity, where did ya get the turbine time? | |

| King Air 300 and 350 is where 99% of the turbin time came from. Neither airplane was full time and actually it goes in spurts. As I told the interview guy when he asked about how much I fly a month in the KA I said well in May I flew it 35+ hrs and was on trips about 10days and in June NOTHING. That is how it works so that is why my 6 month times are so low. I am sure it won't be a problem. |

| Senior Member | Good luck! ASA is the airline I really want to work for as soon as my contract is up at Ram Air. Let us know how it goes.

| Old Skool | What makes ASA your number one choice in regionals? |
| |
| | #12 |
| Senior Member | Several reasons. The pay is decent as far as regionals. They have nice equipment, CRJs and ATR 72s. Atlanta is their main hub and that is where I would want to be based. I have a couple of friends that have gone to ASA and they seem happy working there. I see you have a link to the ASA website as part of your signature. My guess is that you like that you them also. ![]()

The ATR is many things, but "nice equipment" isn't the first thing that comes to mind... ![]()

| [quote=zmiller4;641837]I doubt the frequency of flying will be an issue, but make sure that the SIC time is legit if you claim it. It was under 135 ops that required an SIC, right? Well it is a long story, but it is legit. You know, everyone always writes gouges about their interview experience but no one ever writes about the PAPERWORK!!! For you seasoned guys I know....I will have to get used to it and "you haven't seen anything yet" but good grief. I have literally been working on this packet they sent me from Saturday morning to right now tonight...Monday night and I have hit a brick wall with every single sheet. I have spent all day trying to get it together so I can overnight it tomorrow morning at 8am and now my college is holding my transcritps and I have no holds!!! Now I have to be at the school at 8am to straighten this out just so I can print them and then send the packet!! However...a good thought came out of this....I am sure the next one of theseI do will be A LOT easier to get through. Again, thank you all for all of your support, I hope I don't let you down. | AWAC....however today in the SIM building at CLT I saw a bunch of people interviewing for PSA. Good luck to all of them if they read this. By the way, getting shot down at ASA was the best thing ever. AWAC IMHO is a far better company. The moral here is unbelieveable, well except those that never have anything nice to say regardless...the people are great...the instructors are next to none and overall it has just been a very enjoyable experience....I would recommend anyone to apply because you will most likely get hired and it will be worth it.
