So I'm guessing we are hiring weak candidates. Not to start up a low time debate, but when you get a 300-500 hour pilot in there, chances are they are going to take a bit more hand holding then a 1000-1500 hour pilot and our training program probably isn't set up for that. |

| Re: PSA interview June 1 What's with PSA? I've sent three resumes in and no response. I don't think I have anything on my resume that is bad. I have just over 1700 hours total and 212 multi. My buddy who has far less time than that in both cases and did not go to ERAU or UND sent a resume and got an interview right away. What gives? Do I need to tell them I only have 700 hours? |

| Re: PSA interview June 1 EDUC8-or, from reading some of the posts on here I take it you are flying for PSA. I have read just like everyone else on here about the non-exsistent mins for PSA. I understand they are doing that most likely just to have a bigger pool to hire from. I've sent three resumes over the past few months with no response from HR. My point in all this is do you have any advice as to what I could do to get a response from them. I have just over 1700 hours total with about 212 multi. I have had three of my friends that fly for various airlines look over my resume and they have put in their two cents as far as what I could change on it. So I have and I applied again. I'm not asking you to walk a resume in for me. Just some advice from a guy who is already there. I appreciate any help. |

I mean with your hours any regional is within your reach? Is there anything that would be on your record that is keeping someone from calling you? |

| Re: PSA interview June 1 I have applied at Air Wisconsin, Republic and Express Jet. I had a phone interview with Air Wisconsin last week. Called them yesterday and they have not made any decisions on who they were going to invite to the interview. The HR lady was out of town last week so they are playing catch up right now. I was invited to an interview at Republic back in march, but I had a really bad sinus infection for about three weeks so I was unable to go. I have not heard anything from Express Jet or PSA. As far as my record I have a couple of failed checkrides but that's about it. I asked the lady at Air Wisconsin about it and she said failed checkrides were no big deal. I guess I am just frustrated that some guys I know with a lot less time than me are getting invites to an interview and they did not instruct at all and they did not go to one of the big name flight schools. There are a few other regionals I would like to apply to. I just need to get off my butt and do it. |

OU812 how'd it go? | How soon should you expect the call if they are going to hire you? They said that people who could take the 4th class date would be called Saturday night, so i'm guessing they had a good idea who they were going to hire. They told the rest that they should hear something by Wednesday. Is it a bad sign if you have'nt heard by now? |

| Re: PSA interview June 1 It's not Wednesday yet!
I don't know. 2 years ago, when I interviewed, I finished up at around 4 and got on a plane to Phoenix at 6. I had a voice mail by the time I landed to give them a call back.
Keep thinking positive. |

We've lowered our mins and a bunch of pilots who bid the jets have been washing out.
