About a month ago, emailed it after business hours, got a call right at 9am the next morning. They asked if I had taken a jet course (I haven't), and then said to update them when I hit 800TT. I knew that was going to happen, but it's always worth a shot.

Hmmm, how long before a transfer? I wouldn't mind it there but my girlfriend refuses.

How long are on reserve at ATL if given the Real Jet 200? What are the approximate reserve times if given (the turboprop a/c with A. T.ype rating Required?)

Got a call from Stan 'the man' from ASA yesterday. I should be given an interview date for sometime next week.

With all the hiring, the reserve time shouldnt be that long. I am not sure of the current reserve times.

So, then people are actually showing up and staying then? I heard they'll hire for a class of 20-25, but maybe only 5 show up and others leave during training for greener pastures...

If you get the 26th class let me know. I'll be in there. Good luck on the interview.

Well I finally got hired with SuthunJets Innanashunul's baby brother in ATL. The interview was one of those that are 'overgouged.' Everything that is on the gauge is fair game and i felt that I was well prepared for everything that came my way. Except for that RJ700 trim, thats a pain in the a--. But no one did perfect on the sim ride, and I was given an April 9th class date. Anyone in that class let me know. Anybody or Anything with any questions let me know.

Not a problem; plenty of hotties in ATL to replace her.

Sorry for jumping the thread, I'm just curious how long it took you guys to get the interview, and how you got it.

I E-mailed my resume in on MON the 19th, haven't heard yet but it sounds like they get back to you really quick (I have ~1100TT with 200+ME so mins aren't a problem).

Thanks, and Congratulations.

What are trainers & managers (if/when they pop into classes) saying about ASA's future in terms of growth (new routes/airplanes), upgrade and contract issues?

Of course they are always looking at ways to grow the company. I'm not sure about upgrades right now. Contract talks are ongoing. Everybody is supposed to meet the first of the month, and we'll see what happens.

The people talking about growing the company. . . are they SKW or ASA management? I honestly do not know how much ASA management really controls . . . perhaps some shedding of light is needed. I also just have little faith that SKW management really gives two ####s about ASA.

It only took a few days for me and I was right around your times. You might want to send another resume in. Good luck.
