| Well I had a phone interview today with Sarah from Air Wisconsin. I hope to get the invite for the formal interview in ATW. Anyone know of any off the wall questions they might ask in the interview? I've looked at just about all the posts on aviation interviews and will fly for food. Look forward to any help you all might have. |

| AWAC has lost RFP after RFP. Personally I think they will become a place with (low) attrition only movement and no hopes for growth, and dissolve once the Airways contract is finished. I'd think twice about going there, at least until some positive news is announced.

| Junior Member | What is it with that airline? There are several people at the place I work that are trying to get on with them and are passing up other airlines XJT, SKYW to work with AWA. What makes Air Whisky so desirable? |

| Junior Member | I'm a little wet behind the ears compared to others on this board, but from what I have heard, AWAC has one of the better pilot contracts of all the regionals. It could also be that those people you speak of prefer to live in a east coast domicile such as PHL, DCA, or ORF. Hope this helps and correct me if I'm wrong! |

![]() #2 Nobody (at a regional) can afford to live in DCA ![]() #3 That leaves ORF, which will close because it's actually a nice base!! (j/k, I hope...)

1. No reserve (for him). He went straight to holding a line; 2. Pay: they're one of the better paying regionals; 3. Respect: they are treated well and work in an overall enjoyalble environment (as opposed to some regionals **Coughcoughminecough** that tend to view you as an endentured servant .... I kid)That's about it. He could tell you more himself.....if he'd ever freakin' post!!!.....JC, I KNOW you're readin' this, bro!!! ![]()

| Well to let everyone know what has happened since my last post which was a while back I did not get farther than a phone interview with Air Wis. Don't know why but the phone interview went well I thought. No off the wall questions were asked. Just standard application questions. My times then were just over 1500 total and 212 multi. I had two letters of recommendation sent in by a pilot friend and a guy I know that does the CPT training here in CLT. |

| That's too bad man, look at it as a blessing in disguise. It's a good company but things are STAGNANT. If you want to go airlines I'd suggest SkyWest or Republic for now. Have you had any previous successful aviation interviews? If not you might want to look into some books on interviewing. I've seen some people interview that would be good for a job but they just can't interview well, hence no job.

| wheelsup, I have not had but the one interview with Air Wisconsin and that was just a phone interview. The only other resumes I have sent out were to PSA and Republic. PSA never sent a reply and Republic at the time had different mutli time requirements so I did not meet the mins. I have sent a resume to Express Jet and Republic again but it's only been about a week so I have not heard anything yet. |

| With most of those phone interviews you just need to tell them what they want to hear. That being said, do you have any skeletons in your closet? I forgot what they asked me, mostly why do you want to work here, TT, medical, stuff like that. Just to see if I met their qualifications. You'd have to screw it up pretty bad or come off sounding like a poopy head to not get invited. I would suggest possibly practicing your interview skills with friends/family, or taping yourself. You might learn a lot! Good luck with future interviews!

| Well I've been known to be a poopy head from time to time. I think the thing that got me was a couple of busted checkrides. But the rest of the interview was all just basic application questions. |

| Yeah they aren't hiring much (I hear) so they can probably be pretty picky right now. Don't worry about it, there are a lot more fish out there.

| Old Skool | Yeah their needs might have just changed since the phone interview or you were just up against some other really good candidates and missed the invite by a few spots.

| It's all good. I have an interview at Republic on the 16th of this month. So I have a week to cram my pea brain with a lot of information. |

| Well I was rescheduled for the 19th but I am still fighting this sinus infection. They called me this morning to see if I wanted to reschedule again. I told them I was going to the doctor to see if they could fix me up. They put me on some antibiotics for ten days. But I am supposed to call them in the morning |

| Funny enough, I saw ole Dan in the CLT airport Friday when I was leaving before returning for SIMs and he was all dressed up in his nice new pilot uniform going to PHL for IOE....I am not far behind ![]()
