He had to sign a one year commitment if he was to take the metro with a six month freeze on the base that he will get. Which was not a problem for him. He's stoked big jump in pay also |

| Here we go, I got there around 1:30. Talked with Jonie. Light guns, VFR wx mins, Req Reports, airspace, and more little stuff like that. Met up with Jerry, Jepp charts, flyable, feeder, routes. It wasnt bad at all. Sim ride is the same as it has been. smo, rwy heading to 900 right turn all around to 270 to get on the 316 off LAX for the approach. I did it in the 1900 sim and it was all jacked up but I made it. Got asked that day if I wanted to start class. I have been in class for a few weeks. Not to bad but the flows are nuts. But you got to do them. The PA31 sim is easy to fly. Paid training, Housing, Jumpseat, all that good stuff. I cant say enough about how nice everyone is here. Its awsome. Sounds like they are getting rid of the PA31s and going all turbine. Might get ATR's, and going to get more Lears for charter. But the ATRs are going to be awhile. They need pilots and are running class every 3 weeks. I got on with 1190 and right at 50. anyone have any questions ask away. |

| I doubt it, sorry.
A little low in both categories.
You'd need to be very close to Part 135 IFR PIC mins: 1200TT, 500XC, 100 night, 75 instrument. They'd probably also like to see a little more multi time.
Keep at it though, it's a good place to work! |

| Big Changes? where did you hear about AMF getting rid of the PA-31's? I know we got rid of the PA-32's and C-402's. This is huge news if it's true. AND ATR's? I havn't heard any of this. |

| LOL! Those PA31's aint going nowhere anytime soon. But I remember when I was going through groundschool in the fall, either richards or hazlett were doing a little brief of the company and I think the word ATR came up. But I could have daydreamed that..... Whats up trybysky and eatsleepfly!?! Im still having fun here, how about you guys?

| Yup, having a blast!
I don't see the PA31's going anywhere anytime soon (or ever) either, but I actually did hear that all-turbine-fleet rumor once (and the ATR one too- but I hear that one's been around awhile).
ATR's would be a waste of payload until we got a 121 certificate.
When I was in ground school, they hinted at more Brasilias and 1900's being the most likely new airplanes for now. Who knows though.
Trybysky- is there an outstation there in Spokane? |

| If there was any way, shape, or form, by where Ryan could be in Spokane for work. He'd already be doing it. |

| Still would love to work there someday. I think the 500XC hours will be the hardest to rack up. |

| Remember, it's 135 X/C. Just do a lot of GKY-JWY training flights.
