Default minimum upgrade times

Does anyone know the minimum required hours to upgrade at the regionals, specifically Colgan?

Each airline has a required amount of hours needed to upgrade! I did not ask how long to upgrade, just the minimum hours, big difference smart aXX

2,500 and 1,000 in type I think?

Sorry I misread your first post, I Thought it was time as in calender time.

I know Pinnacle is (or was) 3,000 hours total time. Absolute mins would be the ATP mins with an ATP. Since they are non union, it is probably ATP mins ... or whatever their insurance dictates.

Well, it's kind of a vague question. The answer is "it all depends". There were guys in my new hire class that were able to upgrade to 737 captain after 2 years where I couldn't hold 737 captain for another year. Then 9/11 went down and that upgrade time went to about 12 years. Now it's down to around 10 years. If the airline purchased some planes, it might be down to 8. But if you got hired today, it might be 5 years, it might be 20 -- IF at all! (Seriously, talk to a former Pan Am pilot about 'upgrade times').

It's 300 in type and ATP mins at Lakes. Minus the exception of the Brasilia F/O's who upgrade into the 1900.

Colgan wants Saab captain upgrades to have at least 2000 total and 1000 in type. This isn't a firm requirement though.

I was joking around didn't upgrade. I will probably have a year to upgrade. There have been A LOT of rumors going around they might be getting rid of the Beech so it could on the Saab who knows. I do hope to upgrade on the Beech though. That plane kicks A$$. I love the flying up here.
