Default I have newfound respect...

...for people who fly helos.

I've been toying with the helos in X-plane, and if flying those is even HALF as hard as flying a real one, then you guys have some mad skills. Truly.

Well thanks, but...

Never flown x-plane before, but the helos in MFS are impossible to fly in the realistic settings. I'm rated in the Bell 206 Jet Ranger and can't even hover the thing in the sim. I really don't think sims accurately portray helo flight characteristics. Maybe x-plane is better... I should give it a try.

It's all about finesse and control and anything can be flown. Are you lacking? Of course it won't handle like a pig you're used to if you actually fly Chinooks.

The fly it sim uses MFS and it is a bear to fly. I could keep the cost of my training down by using it. But, I chose to just pay the extra I hate it that bad.
