Does Tab Express (the airline) exist? I've yet to see one of their aircraft in FLL or PBI. Their site claims that they began operation in Spring 2004. What's the deal?

They finally got the green light from the FAA to begin operations. Currently the first class of pilots is going through their groundschool now. Do not know how long it will take for them to actually begin flying though. ![]()

I've seen them pick up passengers on our ramp, so they are operating at a very small capacity. Some friends told me they are part 135, so that would make them more of a charter service than airline.

Technically speaking, even 135 operations are, by the FAA definition, an "airline". But from what most people think of it, being a 121 only makes you an "airline". Just FYI. And they are 135, not 121. ~wheelsup
