It's not the most glamorous, but Millionair HPN provides an above and beyond service, and has the most professional line crew in my experience.

Rectrix HYA has some of the hottest chicks...

USED to be Air51 at LEX. No parking fees, no minimum fuel, brand new Porsche as the crew car, beds, free soda fountains/snacks, etc. Then they got bought out by TACAir next door...

Any FBO that has a comfy couch and plays The Big Lebowski repeatedly on the 50" TV screen.

Actually, technically it's not even considered an FBO, b/c it was built and run by the City of Sugarland (from what I understand).

This is actually the one that came to mind, but I see a few people have said the same.. The pilots lounge should be called a wing instead of a lounge.

I'd vote for Pentastar in PTK. Awesome service + Deli Counter.

Banyan Air in FXE has a very decent pilot shop (Hangar 51) where you could end up spending a very decent amount of money on pilot junk if you're not careful.

I'll throw in a plug for the new terminal at KSPG. Soon to be a restaurant/bar (open late) in March next year on the second floor. Nice location, nice building. Pilotmall on the other side of the field for all your pilot junk needs. There's a Chik-fil-a across the street at USF.

Thats really disappointing. I was there on a XC and met the owner of Air51. Great guy, took us out and showed us his airplanes. He also let us sit in his P-51, Hurry Home Honey! GREAT guy...

I am a fan of many FBO's (including ours which has hot cookies almost any time of the day ) I love Jet West in Reno (nice pool table) and I like all the mom n pop's, so I can't say there is a best...but I can say there is a worst!

Salt Lake Jet Center can suck it. After a long flight and challenging snowstorm approach, we were starving & tired, and they denied us a crew car to go get some chow only because they recognized my flying buddy as a freight guy, and apparently they "don't give the car to freight dogs." I kindly reminded them that I was no freight dog, but apparently I'm guilty by association. Then, we had an unexpected radio issue that needed to be fixed prior to launch....thanks to the good guys at Kings Avionics for offering us their personal car so that we could go eat while they worked on it.(gotta give them a plug here for their kindness). Anyways, Million air, next door, could charge double for fuel and I would still use them before I ever go back to SL Jet center...ok, rant over.
