For about a week or two now, just about every day, 2 or 3 fully loaded A-10's have been going over my house (Atlantic County, NJ) very low. I'm guessing they're just practicing or something?

One of the two would be my guess also.

| They look fully loaded, but generally just have practice munitions and the racks make them appear "fully loaded".

Most likely on their way to Warren Grove. Love the sound of that 30mm!

Cool! I might be up towards that area tonight, so maybe I'll get to see them. They probably aren't there that long though.

I think it's finally hit the fan- Jersey is about to go. They're practicing for a first strike!

Its no big deal, we got the A10s from Battle Creek. Very cool aircraft, I see them so much I dont blink an eye at them. What is cool when you're flying around and see two in formation heading back to selfridge. My grandfather has his place about 2 miles from the base. They do knife edge turns on their downwind to base turn. Very cool. I'll try and snap a few pics next time im out that way for you guys. They are definately alot cooler than the f16s they had stationed there.

I believe those A-10s are coming from ANG detachment at Martin State in MD. They go east-bound towards ACY every day.

| My house is a little less than 20 miles from ACY, everyday, their direction is towards ACY. But, that's pretty much the same direction towards Warren Grove, so it could be either one. I didn't know the ANG used A-10's.

They are headed towards Warren Grove. Go check it out if you get the chance. I am not sure though, that they still welcome visitors.

I guess I wasn't clear I meant they headed in the direction of ACY not that that was their destination. They very well could be going to Warren Grove I don't know generally they depart IFR then cancel and continue VFR and come back either VFR or IFR if the weather is sketchy. They also go to R4007 and R5802 on a regular basis. | |

| I heard the same. I was at the airshow a few summers ago and the word was that they were moving. I used to see them flying over my place along the Susquehanna in Central PA quite often during the summer. I always thought it was kinda cool. They were usually pretty low.
