Why is it people complain about a $2 bottle of water on an airplane but seem more than willing to pay it (and more) at a conert venue or sporting event??? It is what it is. Obviously enough people out there willing to pay for it.

Becuase they think their $200+ ticket entitles them to the world. People liked it when the barebones airlines like skybus and jetblue promised low fares , but now that everything is getting more expensive they dont want to pay!

| Its harder to get off the airplane and go purchase an alternative. You're free to leave a concert if you wish...kinda hard to leave an airplane once the door is closed.

| The animosity that uSAPa and the East has created is directly related to the horrible customer service that you find on USAirways. Ever ride on AWA prior to this damned merger? Great group of employees with good attitudes and better customer service than most of the industry. That's all gone the way of the Dodo now. The East poisons everything that they touch.

| Old Skool | So THAT'S how it is spelled. I heard some other plane being told to do something at FUBRR and I was like "did they really name a fix FUBAR?" but it didn't come up in the FMS.

| Old Skool | Nice, there's a DIRTY on the Falcon3 arrival into ATL and a KINKY on the approach to 26L, unfortunately they never land on that one.

Psst, I think he was referring to 90% of the other LCC employees, not employees at other companies.

It is a little more serious than high school drama. You really don't talk that highly of ALPA or PCL128. Before you continue to be so vocal about it, dissing PCL128 for his posts, why don't you go volunteer for a position? We have a long way to go in this industry, and changes really need to be made. The only way to make those changes is if we get involved early. Yep. Gate agents, rampers, flight attendants, etc are very aware what is going on with USAPA and ALPA at Airways.

However, what I am against is turning every single thread on Jetcareers into something I can read in "Airline Pilot" Magazine when it shows up at my house. Spreading the word on what ALPA can do, but if its not done in a positive manner you'll lose the message on its intended audience. Doing nothing but rag on USAPA is like one of those commercials where all the company does is bag on its competitors products. As I have said on many occasions, this is why I bag on PCL and Surreal. Not because they are pro union, hell I am too. But for the same reason I find it funny to pick on Apple fanbois and laugh at Orioles fans holding signs that say "We're #1!!!". I'm sure they're great guys, but in my opinion (which means nothing) they need to reevaluate the way they try to send their message.

| Old Skool | Meh...I'm just happy when our gate agents know what gate they are working and aren't too busy checking their myspace to acknowledge customers that approach the podium.
