Check the cool wax,

You gonna move to Detroit for Pinnacle? Because if you're not, you're gonna hate your life. Look at it like this if you were to commute out of LAX.

What's it take you, an hour or an hour and a half to get to LAX? I know it took me 1.5-2 hours to drive from Ontario to Burbank in traffic, and Burbank is further east than LAX is. So let's say it takes you an hour and a half to GET to the airport, now you need to spend 20 minutes getting from the parking lot to the terminal, then you're gonna need 20 minutes to get through security and to the gate. Awesome, so now you're at the gate to get to Detroit.

So there are 9 non stops to Detroit, and it'll take you 4.5 hours to get there. That sounds exactly like...MY COMMUTE I'M DOING NOW! Except for I have 2 flights per day. Let me assure you bro, this is something you want to avoid. Commuting to reserve on the other side of the country blows, hard. Trust me on this one, I'm sitting reserve in my cashpad in Newark right now, but I live in Utah. This is not a lot of fun, and it's not worth it to have an "awesome job."

If you're going to go to Pinnacle, move to base. If I were you, I'd move to Kalamazoo, MI and hit on all the young college kids there. It's a 2 hour drive to Detroit, great place to live.

But don't try to do that commute with 10 days off a month, it'll be like living in Detroit and vacationing in LA.
