Unhappy Fighter Combat fatal crash

Saw these guys all the time during my training at Willie (KIWA). If I'm not mistaken the accident plane is N133EE. RIP guys.

I've trained with that outfit - outstanding individuals. I'm very sorry to hear this.

I had lunch with those guys all the time when I was working out of IWA. A really great group of people. What a shame.

Man, that really sucks!

We have been having a run of bad luck here in The Valley recently.

RIP.

I live just a few miles from the crash site. This area is popular for aerobatic flight and GA training. RIP to those involved.

It's been reported that the IP was Jim "Clap" Clapper. I only talked to him a couple times during my time at IWA but he struck me as a down to earth cool dude. Served his country flying F-4s and 105s, was an A&P mechanic, had a BS in Aviation Engineering Technology and also had an MBA, was a past AZ state champion in Advanced Aerobatics, and tons more. Came across to me like a guy you'd just like to hang with.

Very Sad! I had researched this place for aerobatics training and was just waiting on the money to do it. Still plan on training there though.

I hope it was one of the planes with the onboard cameras so they can find out what happened.
