Default Solo...finally!

Well, after a 2 year hiatus from flying I finally soloed this last weekend. My first landing was good but my 2nd one I bounced 5 times and I was so rattled after that that I forgot to put my flaps up. I had to abort that take off but I calmed myself and my third take off and landing went off without a hitch. I also flew solo yesterday and it was cooler and much calmer...really a joy to fly in.

A side note..I have around 33 hours and I know a lot of that was because it took me about 6 lessons to get back to where I was two years ago. Did any body else take that long to solo?

Congratulations! One time my CFI made me take off with the flaps fully extended to show me how it would handle if I did the same thing on accident. It flew very strange, but it did fly, as long as you didn't get too scared and dump all the flaps at once.
