I'm supposed to go on a little road trip Saturday, but hoping to be back in time on Sun. May go grab some wings at KC BBQ and watch from the Hyatt. (Yeah, the Top Gun gimmick at KC is a little silly, but the wings are great and the beer is cold). | |

Thought about it. But then I thought about the machinations I'd have to endure if I told my wife, "Oh hey! I'm going to San Diego before coming home!" after coming back from Brazil. | |

PIREP: AMAZING! The competition was tight (I was on the Coranado and there was not a score board, plus we forgot a hand held  so our person on the inside gave us minute by minute updates) but the weather held out to be a beautiful week. It was fleet week in san diego so the navy was out in all its glory. I'll see about getting some photos up soon, hopefully before I leave for training . For those who went, hope you enjoyed, and those who didn't you missed out, but try to hit up detroit. | |

I was there for the first round of qualifiers Sat. Then the GF was tired/hot/bored and wanted to go. 
I got so sunburned! but SOOO worth it! | |
