this is probably a very simple question. But I really want to know this. I was recently offered a scholarship to go through a college. I choosing to do aviation.
I'm looking through the courses and I noticed that alot of them say stuff like private pilot certificate, and commercial pilot certificate.
My question is what is the difference between a certificate and a license?
Are they the same?
In the US, we are issued certificates. IN the UK they are issued licenses. Just a wording difference really. IF anyone ever wants to see your private pilot license, tell them you don't have it because the FAA issued you a private pilot certificate, lol
