| I just talked to one of their Flight Attendants on my commute to work last week. She said things were great, they had Saudi money behind them and were going to start London-Dubai service soon. Obviously, she had no clue this was coming... Kevin

| Old Skool | Are they closing closing shop? Or just filing Ch. 11 to reorganize? Part of me is reading that they'll yes cease operations after April 27th, but then they go on to say that they'll see a reduction in workforce, etc in an effort to reorganize - to perhaps return shortly in the future? EOS's callsign though is indeed New Dawn. |

| Agent Smith | I wondered why I hadn't heard many "New Dawn" callsigns across the tracks...

| Agent Smith | Now's a bad time to go bankrupt as the credit markets are largely non-existent .

Acutally, if you read the letter on their website it says they had significant credit lined up that would have given them very sustainable profit for 2009 and beyond. Apparently something fell through, as now they have to close down shop. God Bless the EOS family. ![]()

| While it sux for the people temporarily out of a job, it's good for the entire industry in the long run that low pay carriers like EOS go out of business. |

| Agent Smith | Ehh, I'm not sure if I necessarily agree with that -- primarily because mgmt will turn around and say, "(carrier) couldn't make money and paid their pilots less, like hell we're going to give you a raise" That's what I'd do! ![]()

| Now that you mention it, I didn't think about Terminal 4. Maybe they'll attract customers from other terminals. There's still a lot of traffic/airlines serving T4 though.

![]() Your right, but lately I am seeing less of a variety of airlines and more airplanes of the same airlines.
