| Re: Key JC terms and abbreviations One may often see many "codes" used to identify airlines and airports. We tend to use these codes instead of writing out the name of the airline or airport because it takes less time to use a two-letter airline code or three-letter airport identifier than to write out the long name
Some examples are DL for Delta, AA for American.....
Some airports are ORD (Chicago O'Hare), DFW (Dallas Ft. Worth).....
There are far too many airline & airport codes to even think about trying to list them all here, but here is a page that lets you search airline and airports and their codes to decipher them: http://www.airlinecodes.co.uk/

A captain I flew with used that term to express joy. "I got tickets to the Superbowl! WAAAANG "
I told him I would try to take his phrase Waaaaaaang nationwide

At least I think that's what FC-UK stood for.

At least I think that's what FC-UK stood for. | I think that is a brand of clothing called French Connection UK. They used to have hoodies that just said #### that schools complained about. |
