| When I neglect my family... I build and fly giant scale RC. By popular demand, I was asked to post my newest plane. It started out as a box of lumber and took me three months to build. It is designed for all out 3D flying. It hovers at only 1/3 throttle! I'm going to the field later today so I hope to get some video made. Here's the specs: Ohio Model Planes Hybrid Edge 540 (Its a hybrid between a full, scale fuselage and a simple profile fuse. In the world of 3D, a scale fuse is not needed) 92" wingspan Desert Aircraft DA-50 50cc gasoline engine Hitec HS-5595 digital high-torque servos Dual A123 2300mAh batteries on receiver 2000mAh lipo on ignition All up weight = 16.5 lbs http://www.ohiomodelplanes.com/comer...?idProduct=245 Here are the other forums I am addicted to: www.theprobros.com www.flyinggiants.com Who else has an unhealthy addiction to balsa? |

| Agent Smith | I know! CC posted these on the union forum, but I had to convince him to hook up his real homies with the pictures!

| Just by the white picket fence and the back alley you could tell where I live, huh? Yup, Eastlake to be exact. Right off the back entrance off of Mary Freeman Rd. Anyone want to come over and mow my lawn? However, I grew up in Cannon Gate and itching to get back. |

| Old Skool | Very nice!!!!!! You are way above my league, I'm afraid to touch any plane with any engine larger than a .91

| So how is life in Newnan? Looks like the real estate market really tanked in that area. Some deals to be picked up! |

| It may take six to ten months to sell a house but, tanked? Nope, values still going up at 5% a year. The housing bubble barely affected us. Now, closer to ATL and that is where you will find massive foreclosures. Stupid people biting off more than they could chew and predatory lending. |

| That's a really sweet looking plane. My only experience with making things out of wood was that disastrous foot stool incident in summer camp. Put me off the whole concept. |

| Senior Member | I used to. Then I did a knife edge about 2 feet above the strip and had a wind gust push my 1/4 scale ultimate bi-plane into the ground... I never had time to get a new one. |

| Old Skool | Awe snap. . .big ol' RC planes. I have fond memories of driving a couple of those things into the ground as a youth. Never made my old man too happy though. But yes, I second Dan's suggestion of a New-NAN meet and greet. Oh word? Thanks for not moving my car the other day. Figured you had enough room, but wasn't sure. |

It is an "R" rated RC site. We mainly talk about profiles, 3D, beer, and boobies. Not necessarily in that order. | |
