Don't ask the day of the week during the trip. My wife asked me where I came home from yesterday and I had to look it up on the computer. I just say somewhere back east, it answers all the questions!
I made a habit of checking sign in times religiously about a year ago.

I'm sitting back in the commuter hotel, fat, dumb and happy probably watching Dr. Phil under the guise that I had to check in at 7pm..... Oh CRAP! That's 1700!

Luckily I made it to JFK on time!

I'm still in college and I woke up today forgetting what day it was. I knew it was the 9th, but I couldn't tell you which day of the week.

(Checks calendar) Wednesday. That's it.

Oh I can top that.

The Holiday Inn that the Simmons crews used to stay at in MQT had mirrors on the wall beside the bed to make the rooms appear bigger. The downside of that is that if you woke up in the middle of the night, it was hard to tell what was the mirror and what was actually the room. I was not the only one to stumble out of bed and walk smack into the mirrored wall thinking it was the room.

That is absolutely hilarious!!

Speaking of hotels, I run into the getting off on the wrong floor/heading to the wrong room in the hotel problem from time to time.

But I do know exactly what day of the week it is - it's Saturday, duh! My block of work days ended yesterday and starts again in two days. Not my fault the rest of the world may/may not be in sync with my schedule.

Hopefully, alcohol was involved and that would explain it!!

We had a CA who INSISTED there was an elevator in a hotel we frequent alot. He cannot be convinced it was NEVER there and he's confusing it with another hotel we stay at! Needless to say, it's become a running joke whenver we overnight there.

I've stayed at that Holiday Inn!

Heck, when I was based in MQT, we'd go there on Thursday nights because they had the 'birthday party' where they'd pull a date out of the box and if it fell on your birthday, you got to drink for free.

My crash pad mates and I stood out like sore thumbs, it was hilarious.
