Default Reason for Blue Angels #6 crash?

Was there ever a finding on the reason the #6 jet went down back in April? Also is there a website where you can search for NTSB reports? I did a search and could not find any thing. Thanks in advance.

I dont know if youll find it in the NTSB. I would think the Navy conducted their own investigation. I could be wrong.

Don't think you'll find Military events here...

NTSB does not cover the military unless a civilian airplane was involved.

Short version,

He had too much closure to the formation, pulled too hard to join up and blacked out at less than 500 AGL. The Blues fly with a siginifcant foward trim in the stick, therfore he went in before he could recover.

I don't know where a civilian can view the official complete report. It's out there somewhere.

There were a few commanders' calls I attended that shared incident findings as a learning tool. The most memorable was the findings on the B52 Airshow Practice accident at Fairchild in the early 90's.

I don't think they are ever made readily available to the public or even general military personnel.

If you're in the military, you can get them from the appropriated Safety Center.
