Looking for FBO with cheap rates

Hey, anyone know of a good fbo with cheap rates? I am set to begin training at an academy in Florida April 1. They have jacked up there prices with the rise in oil, and I don't know if the price is reasonable anymore. I have seen Air Center of Salt Lake and their rates are pretty good. Anyone know of others? My main thing is having plane available everyday to get everything done as quick as I would at an academy. No FBOs have enough planes or instructors in my area. I have also been concerned with finding a job after I am done, be it either a cfi or some other time building job. If there is a significant slowdown I know it would be nice to be graduating from a big academy with a good cfi job lined up with them. Anyway let me know about any fbos with cheap rates and lots of planes. Thanks.

Damn, White Air does sound like a good deal, its almost 15k less than ATP and you get 80 more hours

I'd suggest going to an FBO, and learning to fly in the cheapest, oldest Cessna 172 you can find (thats well maintained). Get your CFI ratings, teach and immerse yourself in GA flying with an emphasis on instrument instruction for a few years. That'll teach you how to be a real pilot.

You could of course go to some get-me-to-a-regional-quickly program and pay a lot of money. But they'll only teach you how to be a regional FO and nothing more.

Everyone's prices are going to go up drastically, I am afraid. Aviation fuel is usually bought in bulk loads at airports, so it may take a few months for a new shipment to come in, but our fuel rates have gone up .30 a gallon in 2 weeks.
