| Old Skool | RIP. ![]() I think we hear more about these as we bring them to JC. Being in OH, I would most likely of never heard of this accident. |

| That is the type of thing that makes it "hit home." I had the same feeling another time a few years ago. It is a good time for a mental wake-up call that this is not just driving a vehicle around. It is a level up from that in responsibility and risk. RIP.

| Old Skool | Multi engine training, even when done right, can be exceedingly dangerous at times. |

| Old Skool | ![]() I've had to keep myself alive a few times, one I remember very distinctively. It's what we (you - general use) do. Sometimes things happen far too quickly, so who knows. I just hope this was a real engine failure, and not a poorly planned simulated engine failure after takeoff gone bad. I've done enough examples and demonstrations of how bad performance can be in a true single engine pattern (simulated engine failure after takeoff at 500ft AGL). Really opened up the eyes of my students. Sorry, hope I'm not MMQB'ing. |
