Have you seen the guy's logbook, or are you just going off a posting 4 years ago by an excited 15yr old?

Not that he needs defending, but it seems to me that you're going off really old information here. I bet (seriously) that he's got better IFR experience than I do and I've been an airline pilot for 2.5 years.

He posted a link to his online logbook in this thread, it's in there.

Haha, I think we can take the spot light off me. We have been having these types of threads for five years now. Yes I have 20 hours of turbine time and 6 hours of jet time in my logbook from my student days. I think there are two people in this world who care about it, Aloft and Eagle (remember him)

Alex.

Why would you not take what the FAA says you can? If the FAA says I can log it, you can be damn sure I will.

It is not unethical to take what you're entitled to.

Here is the deal with that time aloft. If he can explain the systems of the aircraft he flew, which I KNOW he can, and it was loggable time under the FARs, then he has every right to log it.

Honestly, I can't believe a member on here would even THINK about questioning what Alex has done.

And back at the topic on hand. Seize the day, enjoy the journey, have backup plans (mine is marry a hot, rich girl), do not get comfortable at the regional level, make friends, network, do not get comfortable at the regional level, network, make friends, attend NJC 2008, flight instruct, go to college, do not get comfortable at the regional level, apply everywhere, enjoy the journey, don't give up, and have fun!
