| Walgreen specials. They rock and you can replace them every week if you want... Von Zipper Fernsteins and the ones mentioned above.

| Nothing wrong with Ray-Ban's if that's your style. I wore them for a long time but don't wear them much anymore, though I do keep a pair in my plane in case I forget to bring a pair. I just wanted something more modern looking, but I think optically Ray-Bans are about as good as it gets. I got a deal on a pair of semi-wraparound Serengetis that I've had for a few years and use more for driving than flying now. Having reached a certain age, my near vision really went away so I recently I bought a pair of AF issue style glasses from American Optical, because the large lenses have room for stick on reading inserts and thats what I generally fly with these days. I'd say the optical quality of all 3 of these brands is about equal and you won't get much better even if you spend more. Brown or Grey lenses are a personal preference. My Ray Bans and Serengetis are brown tint but the AO's are grey and I feel the performance is about equal. As for Sunglass Hut (an other similar places), its a great place to try on styles, but I think they are by far the most expensive place you could go for this purchase. Thre are several online places to get much better deals and don't forget places like Sam's and Costco. |

| Yeah I wouldn't buy at the Sunglass Hut. Try em on there, but order em online. Marv Golden has some at a lot better price than you'll find at the SGH. http://marvgolden.com/sunglasses/serengeti-main.htm

| My wife just got me the Serengeti Velocity for my birthday. I had Oakley's before. I would never go back. I highly recommend the Serengeti's. Fantastic. |

| I've rocked a pair of these for a few years http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-STYLE-AVIATO...QQcmdZViewItem Best $10 ever! I always wanted to get a pair of Ray Bans, but after trying a bunch on I really couldn't justify spending that much more on a name.

| I've worn Randolph Aviator's for about 5 years. They're very comfortable with a headset on and I have had many good comments on how they look. I like the non-Top Gun attention look and you can get them in different sizes or color lenses. Ebay for around 40-50 bucks which is nice because I've lost a pair before. |
