| Senior Member | Question for you regional guys: how many flight hours did you guys fly your first 2 years? I realize this probably varies from regional to regional, but I'm curious. ![]()

| First two years - (Jul 2005 to Jul 2007) flew 2276 hrs in 22 months at a 121 turboprop regional with one month off for initial FO training and another month off for upgrade. All the flying was great at first.... The slowest month was 32 hrs - the busiest was 122 hrs.

| Old Skool | 866 hrs 1st year 979 hrs 2nd year 774 hrs 3rd year (upgrade training at the beginning of the year caused me to fly fewer hours) 93 hrs so far 2.5 months into my 4th year (not flying much on reserve). 121 jet "regional". Still waiting for that magic 1,000 hrs turbine PIC. I know my mailbox will be overflowing with job offers when I hit that number . 147 hrs to go assuming I don't get displaced out of my seat. |
