| Old Skool | train, So, you lost ANOTHER 10% of your contract flying. Your branded load factors are insufficient to produce profits. Do you really think VOLUNTARY leaves are going to take up the slack? I'd polish up the resume if I was in your seat, lad. And, I'm not saying that to be an a**hole, just giving you some realistic advice. Best of luck. I mean that.

| I hope it all pans out...met a great group of guys that fly for XJET and had a very pleasant experience both times I flew on branded. Wish them all the best and am obviously willing to help out anyone if it comes to that...though hopefully it won't. |

The flying did not get shifted to another carrier, it just disappeared due to the high costs of oil. We have too many FO's for the amount of flying we're doing right now. We have about 1500 FO's, so 10% of that is 150 FO's, sooo...as of right now I'd say that I'm safe for a few more months.

| If I was number 1 at FedEx I'd still have my resume saved on the computer. In the age of computers we're now in I don't think it takes anyone more than ten minutes to make their resume presentable and up-to-date if they have the last one they used still saved somewhere. It is the ten year work history form that I will NEVER delete! That was a pain in the neck to initially create.

Ford, FlyChicaga.....and any of my other JC ExpressJet brothers & sisters, same goes for ya'll. I might be able to recommend ya'll for something else either here at Eagle or somewhere else. Big prayers and well-wishes!!! Stan

| Likewise. If anybody from XJT finds themselves looking for something, I'd be happy to recommend anyone here for something at Eagle. I know it's far from an ideal solution, but it's better than nothing. It's the least I can do.

| The only way to ever make a decent living in this industry is to marry rich. I started a poll a month or so ago trying to figure out how many had sugar mamas...too few with the JC group. I haven't given up yet tho. -Jason www.flyboulder.com |

| Flew on ExpressJet for the first time the other evening. Was not impressed. Very cranky FA, and the seats in front of me and the one to my side rattled and squeaked like crazy on every little bump. I've also never heard so many large power changes on an approach in my life. Overall - a very noisy aircraft from a pax perspective. |

Was this a branded flight or one of the Delta/CoEx flights?

| It was a CoEx flight I believe - Dallas to Houston. Conditions were pretty benign, not sure why the huge power changes. I was also in 17A which I'm sure didn't help with the noise. It left the impression that the 145 is a very thin skinned machine with no sound dampening. Dunno, it got me to where I wanted to go........... |

| I rode on an ExpressJet Delta flight (SEA-LAX) about a month ago. Overall a great experience. The jet is a little small on the inside, although I did enjoy the 1-2 seating configuration. My only real complaint is that the wind noise did seem unusually loud. We got there on time and with a smile to boot. |

I don't even know how people can hear the XM radio without earplugs. I couldn't hear much without it cranked all the way up when I tried it without earplugs.
