After flying for Big Sky for 10 years, pilot Eric Knudson has landed another job flying 737s or 717s for AirTran Airways out of Atlanta, Ga., and he may have to move his family to the Southeast. There will be no more walking to work across Montana State University-Billings' campus up the Rimrocks to the airport.
Walking to the airport...jeez, I thought that could only be done as a CFI. Good for him though, I hope that others at Big Sky can find things to seamlessly transition into. With hiring as it is I think FOs should have few problems finding something, though it would be nice if captains could move up a step and not be forced into a lateral move.

A Big Sky pilot was in my new-hire class a year ago; from his accounts it was a real laid back, fun type of flying out there.

Someone I used to work with did the Big Sky stuff out of BOS and is just about to start with Compass.

Sad, I knew some pilots out of BOS and I actually gor a call for an interview on a Monday and they called me Wednesday to say it was canx and then the next day it hit the papers that they were pulling out.
On a another note I smell potential for a go getter with a twin for Deaconess Hospital.

First RegionsAir, now Big Sky... I wonder if Great Lakes will be able to survive in the 19-seat EAS business.

Add Skyway to the list. I don't know if they did any EAS stuff though.

Skyway does do EAS. That's really the only thing the Beech is doing there right now.

A gaggle of them found homes at AWAC.
