Default AIRLINE GOUGES which one?

What is the difference between these 2 sites? I know one is free and one is not. But are they the same? Anybody tried it?

I'm pretty sure aviationinterviews.com has a lot more airlines to choose from as well as specific study guides that you can download for some airlines.

I don't know about you, but I think that when it comes to being prepared for an airline interview, that's the one place you don't want to go the cheapskate route. Think of it as an investment in your future. You usually only get one shot at any particular airline, you don't want to blow it because you didn't want to prepare the best you could.

www.aviationinterviews.com is free. There are 2 separate registrations, one if you wanna pay, the other if you don't. I went to a presentation a while back that was done by the guys who started mypilotcareer.com. Their interview prep sounds like a really good program.

I have found aviationinterviews.com to be a great source and the gouges are current. Some other sites seem to be behind a bit.

As someone who recently went through the interview process here's my advice...

Study for the process more than studying for a particular airline gouge. Certainly you should read the gouges but I would do that only after you have spent considerable time preparing for a generic interview. You will be a lot better off and a lot better prepared for anything that comes up. The people doing the interviewing can sniff out canned answers faster than you think. If you come across as prepared but honest and sincere you will perform much better.

I do however feel that gouges are particularly helpful with the technical portion of the interview. It helps to narrow the field a bit.

I would check out a book called "Checklist For Success" by Cheryl Cage. It will help organize preparation for HR questions which seem to be the ones pilots have the most difficulty with. If it's a interview you REALLY want then look into some interview prep. It's a bit expensive, around $250, but a mock interview with someone who knows what they're doing is worth far more than that in my opinion. There are a few aviation specific ones out there like Cage Consulting and Emrald Coast. Good luck!
