Default Tall people in RJs?

I'm sitting here considering options later on in life and I stumbled upon an important question to ask:

What would life be like in an RJ cockpit for someone who's 6'7"? I should note that I have about 100 hrs in Cessna 152s and don't find my size to be too much of a hindrance.

Inquiring minds (mostly mine) want to know.

I have friends of mine at the airlines who range from 4'11" and 95 lbs up to 6'6" or 6'7" and 240 lbs ldepending on what day you ask him and neither really complain about the RJ. Seats adjust pretty low and far back if you need them and the rudder pedals move roughly 10-12" as well. You should be fine

TallFlyer -

In the RJ I fly, I land with the seat all the way forward on its track and the rudder pedals moved back two clicks (about 1/2") and I am 6'1". There is a significant amount of room left for someone taller to sit there.

The problem is getting in and out of the cockpit. Once you're sitting it's fine.

The worst part is going to be deadheading. You'll fit fine up front.

6'7 in a 152? Jesus.

I feel like I'm getting into a clown car and I'm 6'1.

Yeah, the 172 is like a truck compared to the compact 152. I love the little guy though. It's a better trainer and most importantly, it's cheaper.

I had a sim partner that was about 6' 8" and fit just fine, the seat and rudder pedals adjust for just about any size of person.

Haha, I used that to make fun of the eclipse-jet, but it works here too.

Lol, that pic is more accurate than you know.

And yeah, I think the 152 is a lot more fun to fly than the 172, however un-coordinated flight requires a few extra contortions to deconflict the yoke and my knees.
