| The guys with low time really don't have the responsibility like you think they might. When there is a guy 4 months off IOE who still has under 1000 hours, they're helping out here and there but trust me the Captains really have the instructor hat on and feel the weight of the responsibility. I applaud you for waiting till you're ready and you'll be better up front the day you decide to do it. But when it's crudy out, I find the new guys are just busy doing their normal day-to-day tasks of getting atis, setting speeds etc and most don't have the "big picture" yet of our fuel status, available alternates etc...Just lack of experience at that point, they'll improve though.

| they either are desperate or really like my times. although they are not that impressive at 1200TT and 225 multi. i submitted my application at 615pm CST on monday and had an offer for an interview at 300pm Tuesday! that is like what 21 hours?

| I'm glad to hear they are keeping on top of things. Mesaba HR is must have a giant case of the Monday's. I know a lot of folks I used to work with at Colgan are over there and happy. Good luck with whichever you decide.
