I know, I know.

The other day somebody said something about a 'six year upgrade'.

Given the range of one year to six, I was curious where it actually fell.

So does this mean no bro classes either? Because we seem really short on the bro fo side and I would really like to get back to SLC before the music completely stops

Looks like one more bro new hire class until after the summer, and about 40 more upgrades this year. Roll the dice or shake the 8 ball to check accuracy. I don't know what the jet side is doing.

"Skipper", "Commodore"???? I make my f/o's call me Zeus.

I agree with the comment on us being short on the Brasilia side. F/o's are still really hurting for help and captains are OK, but still a little understaffed IMO.

Like Bumblebee said this stuff ebbs and flows. It seems to be part of how it works. I would not worry too much.

I have the relief pilot address me as "Conquistador" but they are required to say it in a Castillian/Spanish accent and roll the R's.

"con KEY stay Dooorurururururururrrrr!"

hey Zeus! Do you still not like mean people? Seriously though why don't you share the story you told me in the crew lounge last week. You know just to lift everyones spirits and add a little fuel to the fire.

I have been practicing my introduction for the pilots I don't know yet . . .let me try this out on you . . .

***ahem***

Hello, you may call me Commodore Head and speak to me in hushed and reverent tones. It would also be best if you never make direct eye contact with me.

If they don't get the message that this is going to be a relaxed and fun flight, I will break out the eye patch and put it on my left eye, so that when they get up in the flight deck I will turn to them and say, do you mind checking out the window for me if we get a vector to the left???
