|  Another ATP (not the school) ?
Has anyone here took their ATP checkride with the FAA guy? I cant find any DE within three hundred miles of me that can do the ride in the Apache. I wouldnt think there should be any difference in the ride between the two. Could there? The Feds have a shop about ten minutes away from me. Any thoughts? Thanks

Legally, there is no difference between rides. Just make sure your Apache is like, completely airworthy, for all intents and purposes. Like, you just invited yourself to a FAA ramp check and it will pass with flying colors.

T.C. I know a DE just outside of Nashville that can more than likely get authorization to do the checkride in an Apache. He might be doing my ATP ride in the Commander soon. If I remember, I will call in the next couple of days and get some info for you.
