| Has anyone here took their ATP checkride with the FAA guy? I cant find any DE within three hundred miles of me that can do the ride in the Apache. I wouldnt think there should be any difference in the ride between the two. Could there? The Feds have a shop about ten minutes away from me. Any thoughts? Thanks |

| Legally, there is no difference between rides. Just make sure your Apache is like, completely airworthy, for all intents and purposes. Like, you just invited yourself to a FAA ramp check and it will pass with flying colors.

| Senior Member | T.C. I know a DE just outside of Nashville that can more than likely get authorization to do the checkride in an Apache. He might be doing my ATP ride in the Commander soon. If I remember, I will call in the next couple of days and get some info for you. |
