Default My proposed game plan.

Alright. I have been planning my route in aviation and this is what I came up with. I am 16 and I have begun my flight training. I will solo in the next month or so and get my PPL and my IFR rating before I turn 18. I want to go to dowling college in long island and I will already have my PPL and IFR ratings so that will be 4 credits out of the way. I will get my commercial, multi, CFI, and CFII at Dowling before the end of my junior year, hopefully sooner. When I come home for summer, I will flight instruct and maybe get a right seat freelance job in a king air for the summer.( Is that possible?) That way I will have some SIC turbine time and flight instructing experience. I want to come out of college with as much time as I possibly can and depending on the current hiring situation, maybe get hired with a regional or a part 135 job. What do you guys think of it?

Sounds to me like you have been reading up around here. I think that is a good route and you seem like you have your head on straight.
