| FAA Should make it mandatory to fit GA Aircraft with Ballistic Parachutes. These Mid-Airs are getting more common then ever. RIP. |

| A ballistic recovery parachute wouldn't have helped the guys in the C-150. Ejection seats, however....

And were YOU in the cockpit? No? Then shut the hell up. How do you know they saw each other? People are dead and someone who doesn't know a bleeping thing about what happens is saying stupid crap like that? Tell you what, Ms. Farjada. When you have a clue, come back and talk to us. Until then, shut the hell up. It's the least you can do out of respect for the dead. | |

| I felt awful and had trouble sleeping last night after I spoke to Anthony's CFI. I used to see Anthony practically every day when I CFI there (well, maybe not every day, but quite a bit. It definitely felt like every day). We used to shoot the breeze and he was always there with a chart folded, studying something. Me and TheAlchemist took him along in our rented and beloved Duchess once. When he took the controls, he had this look on his face -- he was concentrating but at the same time I could tell he was really enjoying it. I can't get that picture out of my head. I had so much trouble falling asleep last night thinking about it. I just can't help wishing we'd have just taken him up again and letting him fly some more and get some exposure to the twin. I'm sure he'd have really like that. Really good kid. Corona doesn't need a control tower. Corona needs the Feds to finally grow some balls and investigate that abortion of an aviation community. |
