Default Crashpad/Ideas in TYS

I start my IOE this coming week at PSA, and I am from the West coast planning on moving to my base in Knoxville. Until I can find something, and get time to drive out there, does anybody know of a crash pad or cheap way to stay out there during my first few trips? I hate having to get a hotel the night before and after my trip, but might just have to.

Thanks, any advise appreciated.

What types of schedules do PSA have? 4 days trips?

From what I am scheduled, and this is only my first trip, and what I have heard, usually 4 day trips, sometimes less. I don't know for sure though because I will be on reserve and haven't really looked at the bidding for hard lines.

Have you already had your relocation days? If you haven't the company is required to provide a hotel room in your new base and 24/7 per diem until your RLD's have passed.

Call scheduling to get in touch with the TYS base coordinator. There are plenty of crashpads available, most of them are posted in the crew room. The base coordinator will let you know how to access the crew room.

I am on my relocation days right now, and they end the day before my trip. Thanks for the tips.

TYS is sort of short on crash pads from what I've heard. But like Jeremy said, your best bet is to take a look around the crew room when you are down there or ask your IOE captain if he knows of anything.
