|  Places like St. Maarten. Anyone know of airports that are almost like or better than St.Maarten? There is this one that I found called St. Barthelemy here is a pic of one of a landing at this beach.  The only disadvantage is that the runway is small so the only planes that are able to land there are small recips or turboprops.

| Senior Member  | Re: Places like St. Maarten. On the other end of the runway is a steep hill, and if landing in that direction the pilots almost have to dive bomb it in.   The twin otters that operate at St Barts pick up from St Marteen most of the time. The islands are right next to each other. -Rob |
