| Well, I have 3 solo flights under my belt. However, yesterday's was quite different. Instead of staying in the pattern my instructor told me to fly over the north shore by myself and practice some maneuvers and than return. I was a tiny bit nervous going out there by myself but I enjoyed every minute of it! When I was practing my manuevers I had a slight tear in my eye from pride. It felt so kool being away from the airport by myself and than bringing the plane back.Flying just seems to be getting better everyday. ![]()

| It is a great feeling. Wednesday I soloed away from the airport and back. Did some maneuvers, but the airspace was really crowded. Then on the way in back to base, ATC gives me all kinds of weird, or I should say, unusual approaches. Then as I am set up on final for 29R they change me to 29L. What put the cherry on top was when ATC congragulated me on my procedures. Great flight! The next day I did my first night landing. Things just keep getting better and better. |
