Default Cirrus SR Sport

Kindle your passion for flying with the Cirrus SR Sport. Whether you are a new pilot looking for that perfect first plane or a pilot who craves the thrill of flying, the SRS is right for you! This light sport aircraft is an extension of the Cirrus product line for those who are interested in a plane for sporty, recreational, or entry level missions. No matter what type of aviation enthusiast you are, the Cirrus SRS makes flying easier and more affordable than ever.

Though the SRS will have a low price tag, Cirrus hasn't skimped when it comes to quality construction and innovative features. Smart ergonomics, lightweight composite construction, modern avionics, single-power lever, the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS™) — you get it all with the SRS. Plus, the SRS comes with a bonus you won't find with any other company — Cirrus' commitment to customer support. For comfort, safety, lively performance, and support, no other light sport aircraft on the market comes close to the SRS. Climb in, take the controls, and prepare yourself for fun as you've never experienced it before — in the pilot's seat of a new SRS.

I'm sorry, I have to laugh every time I hear Cirrus mention customer support. The bottom half of a wing root fairing completely departed our brand new SR22 G3 (because it was held on with nothing but double sided tape). It took Cirrus 3 weeks and numerous phone calls to finally send us a replacement; it was the WRONG COLOR.

Every time we've gone to PBI, we go visit the Cirrus office at Jet Aviation. In the three attempts we've made to visit, they haven't been there either time. We asked someone in another office at the FBO if they knew when the Cirrus people would be back and she said "good luck, they're NEVER here."

If I recall correctly, they backed out of the bidding for Columbia Aircraft, stating that they were going to concentrate on, amongst other things, improving their customer support department. Good thing, cause they need it.

Have fun Cirrus owners.

Define "low price tag." $200K?

Looks like a baby DA20, sans T-Tail. And that damn canopy is going to get HAWT.

I don't like it.
